Our 100 hour Aerial and yin is a part of the 200 hour multi style programme designed for students who have a time constraint and also cannot commit to very long programmes. This course focusses on Aerial , Yin, yoga philosophy, anatomy, meditation and also cleansing techniques. The asana clinic (alignment and adjustment) classes focuses on the Aerial and Yin poses.

Aerial Yoga or also referred to as Fly Yoga is beneficial in achieving a total-body workout, suspend yourself on a hammock flying two to three feet off the ground. The fabric acts like a swing, which is slightly strechebale allowing flexibility and easy movement. the dynamic relationship with the ground changes, to allow us to understand our body better. Aerial Yoga also has major health benefits by allowing one to stretch and strengthen the body, it also does not stress the joints or compressing the vertebrae. The hammock acts as a support system for people with back pain or back disorders. Once you get a little practice , aerial yoga is fun filled with the benefits of yoga poses. Inversions were never so easy.

Yin yoga is a slow meditative and gentle style of Yoga that focusses on holding poses for longer periods usually 3 to 5 minutes or more to deeply stretch and target the bodies connective tissues. This style improves joint mobility , release tension , promotes relaxation and stress reduction, mindfulness and mental calm.

AAYAA Techniques, Training, and Practice

One of the most significant and necessary aspects of the training is Yoga teaching techniques. This section of the course comprises training, practising, and teaching techniques of classic Yoga practises such as Asana (yoga postures) according to the various yoga styles that we will teach in the course.

  • You will learn to witness, several asanas, their modifications, changes, contraindications and various methods to use props which with practice you shall master and teach.
  • You will learn about the theory and practice of standing postures, sitting postures, inversions, backward extensions, arm balances and various other postures.
  • There will be in-depth Study and practical teaching of Mantras, Kriyas, Pranayama's and several techniques of Meditation
  • You will master the Asanas on developing the standard of body alignment, witnessing and honing awareness of deeper physiological processes during the practice of each posture.
  • You shall learn about Bhakti Yoga which includes Mantra chanting, Kirtans and Satsang
  • Most importantly you will learn about Karma Yoga. All these techniques help in Cleansing, Channelizing and Locking Energy in your body to the right principles

This session will cover the following topics: general human body movement and terminology. The neurological, endocrine, respiratory, skeletal, and muscular systems, as well as their interrelationships, in the context of yoga practice.
